Those tiny pieces of plastic are essential to keeping your vision safe. They protect your eyes from what is known as arc burn. Arc burn occurs when a bright intensive light sears the corneas. Welders are prone to arc burn. That is why they wear protective hoods to keep their vision safe. Tanning booths give off ultra violet light which can pass through the closed eye lid, so do not think about forgoing this essential item.

Tanning lotions help prepare your skin by bronzing and changing the cells on the surface of your skin. The problem is that so many tanning products are expensive and no one wants to pay fifty dollars for a bottle of sun tanning lotion. However, you do not have to buy the product from the salon. Other tanning products that you may want to look into are special stickers that show your level of shade. One more item that you may want to consider keeping in your tanning kit are anti bacterial wipes. Use them to wipe down the booth before you begin and after you are finished.
